Check why birds sing....

Adventure is like Pepsi, “Yeh Dil Maange More”. It was hardly a month, when we came from our adventure packed trip to Garden Route and we started feeling thirsty. Ofcourse not for Pepsi but for a new adventure.

Skydiving was one of the adventures I heard of and was always curious to know how it feels to fly in the open sky.Yes you are reading it right, our next adventure sport was Skydiving from 10000 feet. 25 to 30 seconds of free fall with a speed of 200 km per hour. Then you open the parachute and fly in the air for 4 to 5 minutes. And all of this over the scenic view of Cape Town. Its seems like a dream. I booked it for myself for Saturday morning after confirming that it would be a bright and sunny day. Then I approached to Debrabata Mohanty, saying him that I am going for skydiving. This was the trick I used to convince him for all silly or daredevil stunts we did. You just need to ignite him and he is on fire with you.

Another freak with us was Nagsen wankhede, who is ready for anything you say to him. Thus on a bright Saturday morning we headed towards Melbourne, the place from where we were supposed to take off. Everyone had a separate flight with individual tandem instructor and a camera.

Cold wind with an unbelievable speed slapped my face and I kissed the open sky in front of me. The camera man hanged outside the open door and said u jump 2 seconds after I jump. We executed the plan exactly as decided. The next 30 seconds were most precious of my life. I felt like living the whole life in this 30 seconds. Camera man was in front of me and was shooting me and I was busy shouting and looking at the beautiful mountain, sea and the city below.

We opened the parachute and my Tandem guide taught me how to operate that. It was an adventure of lifetime. I am tempted to join their complete course in which we take around 20 such jumps and learn every aspect of skydiving. May be this would the next thing to look forward for.
